Success Skills: The Value of Saying “NO”

I recently turned down an awesome opportunity. Why? Because to take it would have caused so much chaos and stress in my life, and for my family. Sometimes, you serve yourself, your people, your world, best by saying NO, even when you really want to say YES. There are trade-offs of course (every choice involves trade-offs), but when you decide you’re not going to tolerate the craziness anymore, life starts to get better, faster, and you are usually rewarded with a similar or even better opportunity that is less crazy-making.
